Jaron turned 5 on May 21!! It is so fun to have a 5-year-old! For his birthday breakfast, we had pancakes with M&Ms and whipped cream!
Jaron's big gift this year was this stuffed toy named "Dude." Jaron consistently draws this character, "Dude," a superhero with 6 arms. For his birthday, we emailed this drawing to a lady who creates stuffed toys from children's drawings. Dude is SO cute and looks exactly like the drawing!

To celebrate Jaron's birthday this year, we decided to just invite a couple of buddies to join us at Medieval Times for dinner and a show. Here is the invitation we made! Such a cute little knight!

When we got there it turns out that we were on the team of the Yellow Knight. That went over well, despite the fact that Jaron's favorite color is currently green. Here they are with their crowns!

The boys were so excited about the show that they didn't eat much. You would think that they would have loved it considering that you eat with your hands there. But they pretty much just watched the show and munched on some focaccia bread. :)
