CHRISTMAS!!

Yes, we did celebrate Christmas this year. Yay! I know it is April 23rd, but we've had a lot going on, including the loss of our camera, which we have now replaced with a cute pink one (thanks, Cary!). So, needless to say, I had to borrow pictures from people to piece this all together. But, we had a great Christmas!! It was Elijah's first one! Here is our sweet Jaron helping decorate the Christmas tree. Every night during Christmastime he wanted me to pray "for" the Christmas tree. It was also very hard for him not to play with the decorations. Enjoy the pictures!!
Jordan's class sang carols out in front of the school a couple of weeks before Christmas.
Here is Elijah wearing his Santa hat.
My Mom did this hilarious little JibJab video of the boys throwing snowballs at us. We looked like this. It was especially funny to see little 3-month-old Elijah throwing snowballs at us. Classic!
Jaron was enamored with Mimi's Christmas music box that has little scenes of the Nutcracker ballerinas dancing in it. He watched that over and over again at Mimi's house.
I had this great idea for the boys to make graham cracker gingerbread houses. They pretty much fell apart right away, and most of the icing, graham crackers, and candy ended up in their tummies.
I think my Mom is the only person who would let our kids do this. She let Jaron make "snow" with some packing peanuts he found in her house.
Ha! What a mess!!
Check out (below) what Santa brought this year. The main event was the "Mickey" that Jaron had asked Santa for at the mall a few weeks earlier. He had seen Mickey at Macy's whenever we walked in that night. Whenever he woke up on Christmas morning, the first thing he said was, "My Mickey!!"
I love this Christmas morning picture. Sweet daddy.
Yes, Jordan got a 6-pack from Santa....of ROOT BEER. All of these cool different root beers for him to try. Great gift!
Here they are playing with the Narnia castle they got.
Jordan also got a keyboard, and here is Jaron playing with his "drum set."
I just had to document the 3 boys playing quietly by themselves in the playroom. A rare occurrence. But noteworthy. At least for me.
It did not last long. Look at sweet Jordan with his baby brother!
Kim gave Jaron a bunch of costumes for Christmas, including this train conductor one below. It is so cute! He wore it to see the Trains at Northpark. Such a cute scene!
Choo Choo!!!
Here is Aunt Kimmy with little Lishy-bear (Elijah's nickname....yes, I know it's silly, but it sort of fits!)
Fun times opening presents at Mimi's house!
Here is Elijah with some of his Christmas gifts.

All warm!
On New Year's Eve, Cary, Mom, and I (and Elijah) took Jaron to see a Cirque del Soleil-type of show. We didn't know how it would go over, but he LOVED it. He still talks about it. He loved the clowns and all the costumes and dancers. It was a full 2-hour show and he watched every minute. Really a fun memory!
Yes, Kim did give Jaron a Batman costume as well. See below. He chose to wear it to the McNeese family Christmas celebration! Here is Jaron with Grandaddy!
Jordan was especially gracious this year with all his gifts. He appreciated every one, and it is so sweet to see him growing up with such a tender heart.
Elijah (3 months) had no idea what was going on, but he enjoyed all the attention!
Here is Haley opening up the "Bee Movie" dvd.
Elijah loves sleeping in his swaddle blanket!
