School Begins

This year Jaron started his first year at a (primer) Kindergarten!  He has done so well and has loved his new class!  Elijah is in Mother's Day Out 2 days a week, and is loving school too.  Here they are on their first day of the year.

 Finally it's getting cooler so we can go outside!  Here is Cary riding his bike with Elijah on the back.

 One of my favorite pictures of the year!  This one epitomizes our 3 boys and how they have fun together.

 Baw Paw gave the boys some shirts from his alma mater Williams College.  I asked Jaron and Elijah to pose for a picture with their cute new shirts and here's what I got.

 Well, school began and then Jordan fell on the soccer field, breaking his hand/wrist in 3 places.  Eeek!!  Here he is with his brothers after being treated in the ER.  Jaron and Elijah brought him some Big League Chew to help him feel better.  Coincidentally, this also was a big day for Elijah, who successfully used the potty for the first time at home that morning!  :)  Wow, what a day!  Jordan hurt his wrist and Elijah got a new toy for his accomplishment.  (Incidentally Jaron also got a toy for "helping" Elijah do his business....too much information, I know....Needless to say, for better or for worse, this is a day that I will for sure remember!)

 He's doing so much better now!!  He has handled this very very well.  Here he is with his cast, which we all got to sign of course.

 These are Elijah's toys he picked out for his successful day of potty training.  He kept saying that he wanted a "Zurg and a Buzz."

 And here is Jaron's new Kindergarten class.  I signed up to bring the "hot lunch" of the month for the class, and they all enjoyed the tortillas, chicken, and shredded cheese!

 Of course we also brought cookies that Jaron and I had made together!

 This is a picture of Elijah taking a nap at school.  This is how he was most days when Jaron and I arrived to pick him up.

 This was the night that Jaron scored his first goal!!  We are so proud of how hard he works on his team.  Their team name is the "Fireballs."  :)

 These 2 really love to cuddle.  It is really sweet how close they are becoming.  I thank God for that!!
