Elijah's 2nd Birthday

In October, Jordan turned 11 and Elijah turned 2.
Here he is on his birthday!

He got this very fun "roller coaster" for the back yard.

Mimi got him a "Buzz motorcycle."
And Kimmy and Jim got him this "Evil Dr. Pork Chop Airplane."
Actually, all he really wanted for his birthday was a cake with a Buzz on it. He kept saying that..."cake with Buzz on it."

Getting ice cream the night of his birthday

He had a little birthday party in his class, and I brought some pumpkin muffins for the little guys to enjoy.

It was so fun that Aunt Kimmy got to come for Elijah's birthday weekend!
Well, for Elijah's "Buzz Rocket Ship Party," I had my very talented friend, Sarah Evans, help me with the decorations. Here is a coloring station with rocket ship crayons.
The party was at breakfast time, so here is some of the fun food we had.

These were rocketship stickers to "Pin the Rocket on the Moon."

(Orange Juice)
Milk of course!
"Rocket Fuel" (coffee) for the adults!
These were the really cute party favors- the M&Ms had pictures of Buzz on them!
They could also dig around in the sand. Jordan hid some "space rocks" in the sandbox.

The Buzz cake!
The "big kids" found most of the space rocks.
Cary with Elijah's friend, Abigail.
Blowing out the candles!

The best part of a party

Thank you Mimi and Kim! This cake was wonderful!

Happy Birthday Elijah!

Fall Begins

Here is a picture of Jaron and Elijah right before Jaron's first day in his new Preschool class.
This is Jaron with Luke, his bud from the preschool class.
This fall Jaron started soccer, and he LOVES it! He really has fun being on the team, and he especially loves the jerseys.
Here is Jaron in the middle at soccer practice. This yellow and white uniform is the one he wears on game days. Their team is the "Cheetahs." :)

They are the best of friends. I pray that they will always be close like this.

Here are Elijah and Hudson at the Arboretum for the Pumpkin Patch.

Getting face paint of course!

Jaron and Elijah still love these soccer jerseys!
Here are some pictures from Jaron's Preschool class Fall Party.

Our job this time was the craft. I read a story called "Spookley the Square Pumpkin" and the kids created their own pumpkins of all different shapes and colors. Here is Jaron with his "Spookley."
This is Jaron with his friends at the fall soccer party.
With his coach and trophy! SO proud!
When it got cold outside the boys started working on puzzles, mostly 500-1000 pieces. Jordan and Cary did most of the puzzles. They started to give Jaron some pieces to work on and he actually began helping them! He would focus on these puzzles for a long while! It was so sweet to see them working together. Elijah just kept saying "I NOT touch the puzzle" (where did he hear that?)
In November Cary and I went to New York for Cary's show at City Winery. We stayed in a NY hotel, and also at Kim and Jim's house. We had a GREAT time! Our view was spectacular!
