Waiting for Pierce Boy #3 to Arrive

Jordan started 3rd grade this year! He has a great class and a great teacher, and of course he is a fantastic student!
Here is a picture of Jaron with several bottles of salad dressing, specifically "Paul Newman" salad dressing. He now recognizes Paul at other people's houses too. There is a story behind this. Cary tells him all about how Paul Newman was from Westport where Cary grew up, and that he drives race cars and has given "200 million dollars" to charity. Cary also does some "voices" for each of the different flavors of Paul Newman dressing (Italian accent for the Caesar, etc.) "Paul" sits at the dinner table with us and asks Jaron to eat his vegetables, and he does it! Yes, that's right, we are using bottles of salad dressing to get our kid to eat dinner. Now Jordan does it too, and it works like a charm!

A new Babies R Us opened near our house, and at the Grand Opening, several of Jaron's "friends" were there. He got to give hugs and high fives to Diego, Geoffrey the giraffe, Sunshine Bear, and several others. Then the characters had a dance off...check it out below.

Birthday and Fun weekend with Kim and Jim

For my birthday, Cary took me to Bolla restaurant at the Stoneleigh Hotel. It was AWESOME. Then we stayed there for the night, and I got a massage at the Stoneleigh Spa the next day. It was so much fun! I have a very wonderful husband!
The weekend of the baby shower, Kim AND Jim got to come in town. Here are some photos of us all going swimming at the UP pool.

Look at that funny face! (Jaron's, not mine.)

Baby Shower!

On August 22, we had a fantastic baby shower at the Woodlands Grill in Dallas. It was BEAUTIFUL! Kim, Lacy Smith, Jenni Morse and Kyla Muns hosted it, and my Mom made a really cute cake (as always). Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate with us at this special event. We are truly grateful for all of you! Here are some pictures from the day.

Jaron got to come at the end of the shower to check out what was going on. His main interests were the cake and the M&Ms...

Everyone decorated a cute little onesie for baby Elijah. Check them out below. It was such a fun activity! Also, all the guests were given a card to predict the birth date of our new baby boy, and to write a blessing for him and our family. Fun fun fun!
