Getting ready for Christmas!

Merry Christmas from the Pierce family!  We love you all SO much!
Well, we took the boys to see Santa this weekend.  Unfortunately, Jaron was not interested in discussing his Christmas wishes with Santa.  We had to promptly rescue him from having to sit in Santa's lap.  But not before they snapped this picture!  Thankfully, Jordan was able to tell Santa all the things he wants for Christmas this year, and he also told Santa that Jaron definitely wants a ball for Christmas.  (Jaron's first word was "ball," and he uses it to describe anything that remotely looks like a ball or circle.)  Thanks to Cary, Mimi and Jordan for helping out on Jaron's first trip to see Santa!
Here is Jordan with the "Trains" at Northpark.  This was such a cool display!  It benefits the Ronald McDonald House, and it is truly amazing!

Thanksgiving

We spent Thanksgiving Day at Grandmom and Grandad's house in Tyler.  The food was fantastic, as usual.  :)  Grandmom baked 8 pies!  There were 11 people there, so obviously there was some food left to take home.  :)
Jaron had fun with Dada and Grandaddy.  He especially enjoyed chasing around a neighborhood cat and showing how he can throw a ball.
Here is a photo of Grandad and Grandmom...thanks so much for a great day!
We had fun hanging out with Dad, Holly, Haley and Hannah.  It was tough to get Hannah to smile that day for a family photo, but we tried!    Of course, Holly and Haley are 2 of the most photogenic people I know...look at those smiles!  (Dad, you look very nice too! :))
Here's Jaron playing legos with my cousin Lee.  Lee and his wife, Stephanie spent the day in Tyler too.  Not sure who had more fun with the legos....Jaron or Lee.  :)

Trip to the Beach!

The week before Thanksgiving, we went to St. Pete's beach near Tampa, Florida.  It was an early Thanksgiving celebration with Cary's parents, his sister Lissa, our brother-in-law John, and their adorable 2-year-old daughter, Marisol.  We had the best time!  It was Jaron's first time to the beach.  Here is Jordan on the beach outside our hotel.
Here is Jaron putting his toes in the ocean water for the first time.
Jaron enjoyed shoveling sand for most of the day.
Another favorite activity for Jaron was to destroy whatever amazing sandcastle Jordan was building.
Poor Jordan!  Jaron did it again!
Jaron LOVED swimming in the water with Dada.
Here is Jordan being silly with his sweet cousin, Marisol.
During our trip, Jaron developed an affinity for everyone's toothbrush.  Several times he snuggled up with them while taking a nap in the hotel room.  Here he is with all 3 of our toothbrushes in hand before bedtime.
Speaking of security objects, here's Jaron with about 6 or 7 pacifiers.  He likes to hold onto all of them at one time!
Here is Jaron with BawPaw outside of the Island's End.
Jaron slept like this for 2 hours on the plane ride home.  Cary somehow managed to get him to kick back and relax.  I guess he had a fun time on this trip!
